The search for a man with an alleged firearm in Dundee is ongoing more than 30 hours after the incident was reported on Tuesday morning.
Armed officers were sent to High Street in the Lochee area after they were alerted to the incident at around 9.10am.
A thorough search was conducted, however, the individual was not traced.
Enquiries are still under way to identify the man who was in possession of a possible firearm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.10am on Tuesday, December 16, we received a report of a man with a possible firearm on High Street in the Lochee area of Dundee.
“Officers attended and a thorough search of the area was carried out.
“Extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace the man.
“Anyone with any information, or concerns, can approach local officers or call 101 quoting incident number 0674 of December 16, 2025.”
