Fire crews rushed to Aberdeen beach on Tuesday afternoon after a motorbike burst into flames.
Shortly before 3.30pm the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to the city’s Beach Esplanade to reports of a vehicle on fire.
One appliance was mobilised to the scene where the fire was extinguished.
The road was blocked while firefighters sprayed the bike but there were no closures as a result of the incident.
No casualties were reported and crews left the scene around 15 minutes later after ensuring the area was safe.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 3.25pm on Tuesday, July 11 to reports of a vehicle on fire at Aberdeen’s Beach Esplanade.
“Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the scene, where firefighters extinguished a motorbike on fire.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left the scene at 3.41pm after ensuring the area was made safe.”
