Tributes have been paid to a “much loved” man who died after being struck by a vehicle in Fife.
Emergency services were called to Forth Place in Burntisland following reports of concern for a person who had been knocked down at around 9.20pm on Monday, January 27.
A 61-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland has now named him as David Whitehurst.
The force said the 61-year-old’s family said he was “very much loved by family and everyone that knew him”.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing as officers work to establish the full circumstances.
