A police officer has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a police station and sending her indecent photos.
PC Kyle MacKinnon, 36, faces a third charge of using Snapchat to send “sexual written communications” to the same woman.
Prosecutors allege this was “for the purposes of obtaining sexual gratification or of humiliating, distressing or alarming” the woman, who can’t be named for legal reasons.
PC MacKinnon pleaded not guilty to all three charges by letter at Elgin Sheriff Court on Thursday.
The first charge states that he sexually assaulted the woman inside Turner Street police station in Keith, Moray, between two dates in November and December 2018.
The other two charges are that he sent the woman “sexual and indecent” photos and “sexual written communications” on various occasions during the same period.
The police officer is due to appear in court on February 16 next year, with a trial set for March 15.
