A 32-year-old man who was driving the car has been reported for road traffic offences.

An officer was taken to hospital following a crash involving a police motorbike and car in Aberdeen.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident that happened on North Anderson Drive at around 4.50pm on Wednesday.

The rider of the motorcycle was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Police said the 32-year-old man, who was driving of the car, will be reported for road traffic offences.

The road was closed for four hours to allow for investigations.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “North Anderson Drive in Aberdeen has reopened following a crash involving a vehicle and a police motorbike which happened around 4.50pm on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

“The rider of the motorcycle was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

“The road re-opened around four hours later.

“The 32-year-old male driver of the car will be reported for road traffic offences.
