A person is in hospital and a major road is closed following a two-car crash in Aberdeenshire.
Emergency services were called to the A90 northbound near Laurencekirk at 4.35pm on Wednesday afternoon.
One person was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance where their condition is currently unknown.
The A90 northbound is closed with a diversion in place and drivers are urged to use another route.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 4.35pm on Wednesday, 12 July, to a report of a two car crash on the A90 northbound at Temple of Fiddes.
“Emergency services attended and one person was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary
“The road is currently closed and a diversion is in place.”
