One person has been taken to hospital following a two-car crash in Fife.

Emergency services were called to Methil Brae in Methil following reports of a collision at around 9.20am on Thursday morning.

The road was cordoned off and a number of fire appliances and an ambulance remain at the scene.

An individual was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy following the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.20am on Thursday, November 14, 2024 we were called to a two vehicle crash on Methil Brae in Methil. Emergency services are at the scene.”

A Scottish Ambulance Services spokesperson said: “We received a call at 9.19am to attend a two-car road traffic collision on Den Walk, Methil. We dispatched two ambulances to the scene. One patient was transported to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.”

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted for comment.
