A woman was taken to hospital on Saturday after being hit by a police car on an emergency call.
The incident occurred around 7.25pm on West North Street’s junction with King Street in Aberdeen.
The vehicle was responding to an emergency call when it collided with the woman.
An ambulance rushed the 23-year-old female pedestrian to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and police said her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
The force also confirmed that enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the crash were ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.25pm on Saturday, 18 June, 2022, a police vehicle responding to an emergency call was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on West North Street at its junction with King Street, Aberdeen.
“The 23-year-old female pedestrian was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
“No one else was hurt.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
