A man has died in hospital after being left seriously injured by a crash in Arbroath.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision on Thursday, June 8, where the 69-year-old man was found with a number of injuries.
He was rushed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where he died on Monday.
Police said his family had been made aware and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
The man was in his silver Nissan Micra when it crashed on East Mary Street, at its junction with Hannah Street, in Arbroath.
The collision only involved one vehicle and no others were injured in the incident.
Sergeant Gordon Dickson, Road Policing Unit Dundee, said: “Our enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances of this crash and we would urge anyone who may have seen the car involved prior to the incident, or who has any dash-cam footage to come forward if you haven’t already spoken to an officer.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 0189 of June 8, 2023.”
