A pensioner has been left in hospital after being robbed outside a supermarket in Dundee.
Emergency services were called to Albert Street, outside Greens Supermarket, after receiving reports of a robbery at around 12.35pm on Monday.
An 80-year-old woman was taken to Ninewells Hospital. Her current condition is unknown.
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.35pm on Monday, May 29, 2023, we were called to a report of a robbery on Albert Street, Dundee.
“An 80-year-old woman was taken to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.
“Enquiries have commenced and are ongoing.”
