A person has been treated for smoke inhalation following a house fire in Angus.
Emergency services were called to Balkeerie around 11.54am on Friday to reports of a dwelling fire.
Five fire engines were sent to the scene to extinguish the blaze at a semi-detached property.
Police closed the road between Newtyle and Glamis at either side of Balkeerie while the incident was dealt with.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 11.54am on Friday, July 11 to reports of a dwelling fire at Balkeerie in Angus.
“Operations Control has mobilised five appliances to the scene to extinguish a fire affecting a semi-detached property.
“Crews remain at the scene as they work to make the area safe.

“One person is being treated for mild smoke inhalation.”
