Two people have been arrested in connection with road traffic offences following a fatal crash in Aberdeen.
Gabriel Lungu, from Romania, died after his Dacia Sandero collided with a Volkswagen Golf on December 30 last year.
The incident happened at the junction of Hilton Drive and Hilton Avenue.
Mr Lungu, 43, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, but died from his injuries.
Two men, aged 21 and 25, have now been arrested in connection with the incident.
On Thursday, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two men, aged 21 and 25, have been arrested in connection with road traffic offences following a fatal road crash in Aberdeen.
“The incident happened around 6.25pm on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the junction of Hilton Drive and Hilton Avenue.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Following Mr Lungu’s death, his family described him as a “much-loved husband, father, grandfather, and friend”.
They added: “Gabriel was truly one in a million. The most selfless, caring, and kind man you could ever wish to know.”
