A major route was closed in both directions after a vehicle burst into flames and fuel spilled onto the road in Aberdeenshire.
Police Scotland were alerted to the A96 near Huntly around 12.10pm on Friday following the incident.
Firefighters and police attended the scene and the road was closed in both directions.
Eyewitnesses said the vehicle on fire was a Volkswagen campervan.
Two fire engines were dispatched at around 12.03pm to put out the blaze.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.10pm on Friday, July 8, police were called to assist following a report of a vehicle on fire on the A96 near to Huntly.”
The blaze was later contained and the road fully reopened around 1.30pm.
