Police 'extremely concerned' for welfare of missing Perth man

Police Scotland says it is “extremely concerned” for the welfare of a missing Perth man.

Brian Rodgers was last seen around 10.30pm on Saturday in the Parkhead Gardens area.

The 44-year-oldescribed as white, around 5ft 11in tall, with short grey hair. When he was last seen, he was wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a black hooded top.

Inspector Gavin Harris said: “We’re extremely concerned for Brian’s welfare and we’re urgently trying to trace him to ensure he is safe and well.

“Officers are carrying out enquiries in the local area however I’m appealing for help from the public. Do you know Brian and know where he may be? Have you seen anyone matching his description late on Saturday night, into the early hours of Sunday morning? Anyone with information is urged to get in touch.

“Brian, if you see this appeal, please make contact with police so we can ensure you’re okay.”
