Police 'increasingly concerned' for missing women as re-appeal issued

Police have said they are “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of a woman missing from Aberdeen for nearly a week.

Alexanderina Smith (Alex) was last seen in the Westburn Road area on Sunday, December 21, 2025.

The 31-year-old is described as white, 5ft 2 in height, medium build with long brown hair.

Inspector Hollie Murray from North East Division said ‘’We are becoming increasingly concerned for Alexanderina’s welfare and are anxious to trace her safe and well.

‘‘I would urge anyone who may have seen or heard from her to contact us on 101”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 0009 of 22 December, 2025.
