Police have launched an investigation into a house fire in Moray.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at a property on Pluscarden Road, Elgin, at around 12.15am on Thursday.
The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
No one was injured as a result of the blaze, and police have now launched an inquiry.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a fire at a property on Pluscarden Road in Elgin around 12.15am on Thursday, April 28.
“The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and nobody was injured.
“A joint investigation will be carried out with the fire service, although there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.”
