A woman who died in a three-vehicle crash days after Christmas on a major Aberdeenshire road has been named by police.
Police were called shortly after 10.30am on Wednesday, December 28 following reports of a crash on the A90 Aberdeen to Peterhead road.
The collision involved a blue Isuzu D-max, a white Ford Kuga and a red Ford Fiesta.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta, 57-year-old Gillian Murray, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Isuzu, a 19-year-old woman, and the driver of the Ford Kuga, a 72-year-old man, were uninjured.
The road was closed for around nine hours while investigations were carried out.
An appeal has now been launched for anyone with dashcam footage of the vehicles to come forward.
Sergeant Eoin Maxwell, of the North East Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Gillian Murray at this time.
“Investigations into the collision is still ongoing and I would ask anyone who has not already spoken to police or anyone that has dashcam footage of the vehicles to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 0920 of December 28, 2022.”
