A new sighting of a “particularly vulnerable” man missing from Dundee has been confirmed by police.
Officers investigating the disappearance of Jamie Collins have released CCTV images of a man believed to be the 20-year-old at the Ninewells Hospital bus terminal on Tuesday, May 31.
Collins, from the city’s Whitfield area, is reported to enjoy travelling on buses and was last seen in person in the Liff Road area on the same day.
New stills now show he was at the terminal at around 7.50pm and detectives have now appealed for assistance in tracking his forward journey.
Jamie is described as 5ft 9in tall, with shoulder-length brown curly hair and was last seen wearing white Nike trainers and a blue tracksuit.
Officers added the 20-year-old has an unusual gait as he sways from side to side while walking.
If Jamie is cited, police have warned not to approach him and instead contact them on the non-emergency number as soon as possible.
Inspector Martin Pattie said: “We are really concerned for Jamie’s welfare and are asking anyone with any information at all that could potentially assist with our search to please come forward urgently.
“Through our enquiries we know the last sighting of Jamie was of him walking in the direction of Kirsty Semple Way, from the bus terminal at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee on Tuesday, May 31.
“We would ask anyone who thinks they have seen him, or has dashcam footage from the area where he was last seen, to get in touch.”
He added: “Jamie is a particularly vulnerable individual and it is imperative he is traced as quickly as possible.”
Any information can be passed to Police Scotland via 101, quoting reference number 3608 of May 31.
