Four people have been taken to hospital after being involved in a three-car crash near Elgin.
The collision happened on the A96 eastbound near Lhanbryde at around 11.50am on Saturday April 8.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and the road remains closed in both directions, with traffic diverted through St Andrew’s Road.
Motorists are warned to expect continued delays along the route.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving three cars on the A96 near Lhanbryde, around 11.50am on Saturday, 8 April, 2023.
“A man and a woman were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. Another man and woman were taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital for treatment.
“The road remains closed to allow for vehicle recovery.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
