Police seize 14 vehicles for tinted windows and drug driving at 'gathering'

Police have seized more than a dozen vehicles at a “gathering” in Dundee.

Officers attended the gathering in the Clepington Road area on Saturday, June 8 where 14 drivers were reported for road traffic offences.

Their vehicles were seized for offences including heavily tinted windscreens, drug driving and lack of insurance.

Road Policing sergeant Steve Livesey said: “Dangerous, reckless and antisocial use of motor vehicles will not be tolerated and we would urge any attendees of these events to behave lawfully and responsibly and ensure their actions do not put themselves or others at risk.”
