Police investigating the theft of a motorbike in Edinburgh have uncovered other suspected stolen motorbikes, drugs and cash at a farm in Aberdeenshire.
A motorbike that had been reported stolen from Morrison Street in Edinburgh on August 16 was traced by officers to a farm near Blairs, Aberdeen by following a tracker.
The black-coloured Triumph Street Triple motorbike was found alongside six other motorbikes believed to be stolen, a quantity of drugs and nearly £10,000 in cash.
Two men, aged 19 and 27, were arrested and charged with drugs offences and are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Sergeant Steven Young said: “These types of crimes are not victimless. Drugs cause misery in our communities and we are committed to removing them from our communities.
