iStockPolice investigating the theft of a motorbike in Edinburgh have uncovered other suspected stolen motorbikes, drugs and cash at a farm in Aberdeenshire.
A motorbike that had been reported stolen from Morrison Street in Edinburgh on August 16 was traced by officers to a farm near Blairs, Aberdeen by following a tracker.
The black-coloured Triumph Street Triple motorbike was found alongside six other motorbikes believed to be stolen, a quantity of drugs and nearly £10,000 in cash.
Two men, aged 19 and 27, were arrested and charged with drugs offences and are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Sergeant Steven Young said: “These types of crimes are not victimless. Drugs cause misery in our communities and we are committed to removing them from our communities.
“Anyone with information about drugs or concerns about illegal substances should contact Police Scotland on 101 or make a call anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
