The Scottish SPCA’s Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Drumoak organised a group walk for all dogs in its care on Boxing Day.
As part of the festive activities, staff at the centre also prepared Christmas meals for the animals.
Dogs were served turkey, while cats received turkey and salmon.

Toy and treat donations collected in the run-up to Christmas were wrapped and given to the animals, with each one able to select a present.
SuppliedNaomi Clancy, Manager at the Aberdeenshire centre, said staff had been busy throughout the festive period.
“We have been busy at the Aberdeenshire centre this festive period, cooking up a festive feast for our animals, wrapping up some toys and organising a group walk for our dogs,” she said.
“All animals deserve a treat, especially at Christmas, so we were keen to do something special for those in our care.”
