Emergency services were called to St Vincent Street at around 12.05pm on Monday.

Police confirmed that the incident involved a van crashing to the railway bridge on the street.

Drivers have been urged to avoid the area.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “St Vincent Street in Broughty Ferry is closed after a van struck a railway bridge around 12.05pm today.

“Motorists are asked to avoid the area and find alternative routes.”
