An Aberdeenshire road has been closed as emergency crews tackle a fire at farm buildings.
Drivers have been asked to avoid the B9077 at its junction with the B979 and the A957 due to the blaze near Banchory.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police Scotland and Scottish Fire and Rescue are in attendance regarding an ongoing fire in the Durris area of Banchory.
“Motorists are being advised of a road closure on the B9077 at its junction with B979 and the A957 and are requested to avoid the area if possible.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue service spokesman said firefighters are still at the scene but the number of appliances in the area has reduced
“We initially sent four appliances but there are just two there now, basically dampening down the site,” the spokesperson said.
