A road on the A90 has been closed due to a vehicle on fire with drivers urged to avoid the area.
Amey North East Trunk Roads confirmed the road near Tealing is closed after a vehicle burst into flames after 7pm on Thursday.
It comes hours after the A90 southbound was also restricted due to another vehicle on fire at North Water Bridge near Montrose.
Emergency services are said to be on site with drivers urged to seek alternative routes with delays expected.
A Traffic Scotland post read: “The A90 southbound near Tealing currently restricted due to a vehicle fire.
“Road users are advised to use caution on approach.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 6.43pm on Thursday, January 2 to reports of a single car on fire on the A90 near Gallowfauld in Angus.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the scene, and firefighters extinguished the fire.
“There were no casualties, and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
