Roads closed amid 'disturbance' as public urged to avoid area

Roads have been closed in Aberdeen amid an ongoing disturbance in the city.

On Tuesday afternoon, police urged members of the public to avoid the area near School Road, between Seaton Avenue and King Street.

A police statement read: “Officers dealing with a disturbance have closed School Road, between Seaton Avenue and King Street, in the Seaton area of Aberdeen.

“The public is asked to avoid the area at this time.”

The Scottish Ambulance Service and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for comment.
