The roof of a primary school in Moray has sustained “significant damage” after a break-in.

Police are investigating the incident which took place between 6pm on Friday, November 29 and 8am on Monday, December 2 at Cluny Primary School in Buckie.

Officers said significant damage was caused to the roof of the building.

A Police Scotland statement read: “Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed anything related to the incident or noted suspicious activity in the area to contact us by email, 101 or Crimestoppers and quote Crime Reference CR/0458841/24.”
