A schoolboy has been taken to hospital after being attacked in Dundee.
Officers were called to the scene of the incident which occurred between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on Lundie Avenue on Sunday.
An 11-year-old boy was assaulted in the incident and taken to hospital for treatment.
Police have now launched an appeal to trace a male suspect in his early to mid teens who was wearing dark clothing.
The force said enquiries into the incident are “ongoing” and urged anyone with information to come forward.
Constable Mark Hogg said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this to come forward.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police quoting reference CR/0107980/24.”
