Teenage boy found 'in possession of knife' at school 

A schoolboy was allegedly found in possession of a knife at a school in Dundee.

Officers received a report of a pupil with the weapon at a school in the area around 1.40pm on Wednesday, September 18.

The knife was not brandished and was recovered by police.

A 16-year-old boy will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.40pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, officers received a report of a pupil in possession of a weapon at a school in Dundee.

“The weapon was not brandished and has been recovered.

“A 16-year-old male youth will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
