A search has been launched for a missing Aberdeen pensioner who is believed to be travelling with a poodle.
John Warnock was last seen in Cairn Walk in the Cults area of the city at around around 12.10pm on Thursday.
The 83-year-old is described as being 5ft 10in, medium build, with grey balding hair. When last seen, he was wearing flannel trousers and a blazer and was walking with a cane.
He is also believed to be travelling with a black poodle dog and two purple suitcases.
John is known to have connections to the Lanark area and it is believed he may be attempting to travel out of the Aberdeen area.
Sergeant Duncan Barron said: “As time passes since John was last seen, our concern for his wellbeing continues to grow.
“It is likely that he would look quite distinctive, walking with his poodle, two suitcases and a cane. We would appeal to anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts or any potential sightings to please come forward as soon as possible.
“Anyone who can assist our enquiries should call police on 101, quoting incident 1439 of September 3, 2026.”
