A search of the River Tay is still ongoing after reports of three men in difficulty in the water near Perth on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to Moncrieff Island at around 7.45pm after the alarm was raised.
Two men were traced and checked over by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
A 27-year-old man remains missing.
A major response remains ongoing involving police helicopters, Mountain Rescue team and firefighters.
The search will continue on Friday, as a result, Tay Street is closed in both directions, from Marshall Place to Canal Street, for road users and pedestrians.
The public has been urged to avoid the location.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 7.37pm on Thursday, August 14, to attend the Perth River near Tay Street, Perth.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances and several specialist water rescue resources to the scene to assist emergency service partners.”
