A dog that was stolen during the theft of a car and a trailer from a farm in Perth has been found.
Emergency services were called to Broadwood Farm in Abernethy after a grey Mitsubishi L200 towing a blue diesel bowser was stolen at around 7pm on Tuesday.
The trailer had a fox red Labrador inside.
Officers confirmed that the dog was later recovered at 8pm in Errol, but the vehicle remains missing.
Enquiries remain ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
Constable Matthew Mason, Crieff Police Station, said: “Given the time of day this occurred, members of the public are likely to have seen the vehicles.
“I would urge anyone in the Abernethy and Errol areas with private CCTV, doorbell cameras or dashcams to review their footage and bring anything of significance to our attention.
“If you were in the area around the time and think you maybe have seen something which could help with our investigation, please come forward.”
Anyone with any information should contact police via 101, quoting reference 3243 of September 26. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where information can be given anonymously.
