A stretch of the A96 has been closed in both directions following a smash between two cars.
Emergency services were alerted to the crash near Colpy, Aberdeenshire, shortly before 7.30am on Wednesday.
Traffic Scotland has advised that the road has been closed at the A920 southbound and B992 northbound.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A96 near Colpy is closed in both directions following a road traffic collision involving two cars.
“Officers were called around 7.25am this morning.
“Emergency services remain on the scene and diversions are in place.”
