Suspect charged in connection with death of man at Dundee flat block

A suspect has been charged in connection with the death of a man at a Dundee flat block on Hogmanay.

Emergency services were called around 2.05pm on Wednesday, December 31 to Hilltown Terrace in the Hilltown area of the city.

A 38-year-old man was pronounced dead within Tulloch Court.

After following the victim’s movements on CCTV, Detectives realised a hat and shoes had been taken from his body.

Officers have charged a 43-year-old man in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 43-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Dundee.

“Around 2.05pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, a 38-year-old man was found deceased at Tulloch Court, Hilltown.

“The 43-year-old man is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday, February 9, 2026.”
