A teacher at an Aberdeenshire primary school accused of assaulting two pupils has been acquitted after a three-day trial.
A 55-year-old woman, who can’t be named for legal reasons, denied five charges of assault at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, four of them against the same pupil.
They included pushing a boy against a radiator and dragging another by the legs along a classroom floor.
The offences were alleged to have taken place in 2018 and 2019.
The sheriff upheld a defence submission that there was no case to answer.
He said there was no corroboration or evidence of evil intent.
