A teenager has been charged with a number of deliberate fires which took hold at a quarry in Moray.
Emergency services have been called to the Sunbank Quarry in Lossiemouth four times within a month to tackle a string of blazes.
The latest fire started on Thursday at around 7.20 pm and has been extinguished. No injuries were reported during any of the incidents.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said six fire engines and a specialist resource were sent to the scene.
Police began regular patrols of the area before, during and after school following the spate of fires.
Local land owners were encouraged to add additional fire protection to nearby properties, while officers and firefighters delivered safety talks at secondary schools.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with the wilful fires.
He has been released on an undertaking and will appear at court at a later date.
