A teenager has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of a 16-year-old in a park in Fife.
Emergency services took a 16-year-old boy to Victoria Hospital for treatment following the incident in Ravenscraig Park, Kirkcaldy, on Friday, April 25.
An 18-year-old man was arrested by police.
Mason Wallace, from Kirkcaldy, appeared at court on Thursday charged with assault to severe injury, danger of life and attempted murder.
He made no plea during his appearance and was committed for further examination.
Wallace has been released on bail and his next appearance has not yet been determined.
A 14-year-old boy was also charged with assault in connection with the incident.
