A teenager has been charged after an alleged assault in Carnoustie left a man in hospital.
The incident took place on Ferrier Street, at the junction with Dundee Street, at around 12.30am on Saturday, May 25 with one man, aged 23, receiving hospital treatment.
A 30-year-old man did not require medical treatment.
An 18-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and enquiries remain ongoing, police said.
