A haul of heroin and crack cocaine worth more than £8,000 has been recovered from a car in Aberdeen.
A Vauxhall Corsa was stopped and searched on Seaton Walk at around 1.30pm on Tuesday as part of an operation targeting vehicles linked to drug supply.
Officers seized the class A drugs worth around £8,400 during a search of the vehicle.
An 18-year-old man was charged in connection with the incident. The teen is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
DC Mathew McKay said: “This operation demonstrates our continued commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
“Drugs cause misery in our communities, and the public has a vital role in helping us to trace those involved in the supply of illegal substances.
“Anyone with information or concerns about drugs should contact us via 101 or make a call to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
