A teenager has been charged after two women were seriously injured at a property in Elgin.
Police were called to a concern for a person report in the Manbeen Place area around 11.50am on Monday.
Emergency services, including specially trained officers, attended the scene and two women, aged 39 and 33, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 38-year-old man and a 17-year-old male were arrested in connection.
The 17-year-old has been charged and is due to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.50am on Monday, April 21, 2025, we were called to a report of concern for a person at a property in the Manbeen Place area of Elgin.
“Emergency services attended, including specially trained officers, and two women, aged 39 and 33, were taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
“A 38-year-old man and a 17-year-old male youth were arrested in connection.
“The 17-year-old has been charged and is expected to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court on Wednesday, April 23. Further enquiries are ongoing.”
