A teenager has appeared in court accused of a life-threatening attack on a 15-year-old boy in Elgin.
The 16-year-old male was arrested after the incident on the town’s High Street at around 7.20pm on Saturday, November 16.
The alleged victim was treated at Dr Gray’s Hospital.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court on Tuesday charged with assault to severe injury and danger to life and two counts of possessing a blade in public.
He made no plea and was granted bail.
A date for his next appearance has not yet been set.
