A teenager has been taken to hospital after suffering a serious injury following an attack involving “a number of people” in Perth.
Police are appealing for information following the incident, which occurred around 10pm on Saturday evening in the South Methven Street area, near to Mill Street.
An 18-year-old man was taken to Perth Royal Infirmary for treatment to a “serious but non-life threatening” injury.
Police later traced a 17-year-old who was also assaulted in the incident but did not require medical treatment.
Detective inspector Simon Murray said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have seen or heard any disturbance in the area to come forward.
“We believe a number of people may have been involved so if you can help please get in touch.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV from the area.
