A teenager has been charged following a collision involving a pedestrian in Moray.
The incident occurred on Nairn Road in Forres around 11.50am on Sunday.
The pedestrian was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin for treatment following the collision.
On Thursday, police confirmed the 19-year-old driver of the car was charged in connection and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Constable Anna Steventon said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are asking anyone who may have information which could assist officers to get in touch.
“We would also ask anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the incident to come forward.”
