A teenage girl has been arrested and charged after a woman was taken to hospital after being assaulted outside a nightclub in Dundee.
Emergency services were called to St Andrews Street, outside Pout nightclub, at around 2.45am on Monday after receiving reports that a 30-year-old woman had been attacked.
She was taken to hospital for treatment. Her current condition is unknown.
Officers confirmed that an 18-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A police spokesperson said: “Around 2.45am on Monday May 8, officers received a report of an assault on St Andrews Street, Dundee.
“A 30-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
“An 18-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”
