A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital after a crash with a car in Moray.
The 19-year-old motorcyclist was on the B9013 College of Roseisle to Burghead Road, around 9.55pm on Tuesday when he was involved in a crash with a white Vauxhall Crossland car.
The teenager, who was riding a blue Yamaha FZ6 Fazer motorcycle, was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital for treatment before being transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
His injuries have been described as serious. The occupants of the car were uninjured.
The road was closed for five hours while investigations were carried out before reopening around 3.30am.
Constable Callum Hogg, of the Elgin Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into this incident and I am appealing for anyone who has any information which could assist to contact us.
“In particular, we would be keen to speak to anyone who saw the vehicles before the crash or who were in the area at the time and who may have dash cam which could assist to get in touch.”

The incident unfolded just hours after a 55-year-old motorcyclist died following a crash with a tractor on the B9136 in Moray.
Police closed the Glenlivet to Tomintoul Road for around ten hours following the crash on Tuesday. The driver of the tractor was uninjured.
