A teenager has been arrested in connection with the death of a man found in a home in Angus.
Emergency services were called to Commerce Street in Arbroath at around 7.40pm on Tuesday following reports of a dead individual within a property.
The incident is being treated as unexplained by investigators and enquiries are under way to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
A 19-year-old has been arrested in connection with the death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.40pm on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, we received a report of the death of a man within a property on Commerce Street, Arbroath.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
“A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death.
“A police presence will remain in the area while we carry out investigations and anyone with any concerns can approach these officers.”
