Teen charged following 'disturbance' near medical centre

A teenager has been charged following an alleged disturbance near a medical centre in Aberdeen.

Emergency services were called to Marquis Road on Monday around 11.15am after receiving reports of an incident.

The disturbance took place near the Woodside Health Centre, however, the disturbance is not believed to be connected to the centre in anyway.

A 19-year-old man was charged in connection and there were no reported injuries.

He is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.15am on Monday, January 27, 2025, we received a report of a disturbance at an address on Marquis Road, Aberdeen.

“Emergency services attended and there were no reported injuries.

“A 19-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection.

“He is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
