A 15-year-old is among three people charged in connection with a spate of car thefts in Aberdeen.
The teenager and two other males were cited in connection with 11 separate reports of vehicle thefts and attempted vehicle thefts in the the city in a three-week period.
It came after officers responded to incidents on Linksfield Court, Kings Court, Pittodrie Place, Cattofield Place, Foresterhill Court, Donbank Terrace and Gordons Mills Road between Tuesday, May 31 and Thursday, June 23.
Vehicles on Westray Road, Mastrick Road, Bonnyview Drive and Dubford Terrace were also targeted in the raids.
The 15-year-old and men aged 20 and 22 years old appeared at Aberdeen sheriff court on Friday.
Constable Robert Gordon, of operation armour, said: “I am pleased that we were able to arrest three males in connection with these incidents.
“These types of crimes can have a devastating impact on victims and their communities which is why tackling acquisitive crimes remains one of our top priorities.
“Please report any unusual or suspicious behaviour to police via 101, ideally at the time it occurs.”
