A teenage boy has died and two others were taken to hospital after a crash in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to the B9077 at around 12.40am on Sunday morning after receiving reports that a black Audi RS3 had crashed.
A 19-year-old man, a passenger in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 23-year-old man, the driver of the car, and a 22-year-old man, another passenger, were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with minor injuries.
The road remains closed between Kirkton House and Leggart Terrace while investigators carry out a full collision investigation.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and investigating officers are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch.
Sergeant Lesley Morrison, of Elgin Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing and our thoughts are with the deceased’s family at this difficult time.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the car prior to the incident to get in touch.”
