A textile factory in Dundee was evacuated after going on fire on Friday morning.
Around 40 members of staff left the building after a blaze broke out at Halley Stevenson’s Baltic Works in Annfield Road just before 9am.
The fire started in a drying machine and then spread to ducts in the factory.
Three fire engines were deployed by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) and the blaze was extinguished.
No injuries were reported.
Jimmy Campbell, the company’s managing director, said: “About 40 members of staff had to leave the factory. We had to shut the factory and tidy up but we’re confident that we’ll be back up and running within 24 hours.”

An SFRS Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 8.43am on Friday, February 4, to reports of a fire within a first floor flat in a single-storey building in Annfield Road, Dundee.
“Operations control immediately mobilised three fire engines to the location and firefighters extinguished the fire.
“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
